European Day Without A Road Death

The European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) supports a major initiative on the 21st of September each year called the European Day Without A Road Death, otherwise known as Project EDWARD.

Dublin Cycling Campaign, through its meetings with An Garda Síochána and the Road Safety Authority, has recently become aware of this initiative and we have posted the above photograph to the Project EDWARD website in support of it. The idea is to push for a reduction in road traffic collisions, and, ultimately, to end up with a day (and ideally every day of course) with zero road traffic fatalities.

The photograph is a small gesture of support from Dublin Cycling Campaign for this initiative. You can find out more by visiting https://projectedward.eu/.
