We attended Vegetarian Day 2014

We attended Vegetarian Day 2014 in St Andrews Resource Centre on Pearse Street. The event was run by the Vegetarian Society of Ireland.

There was a good turnout on the day and we were kept busy talking about cycling in the city. It was great to catch up with some of our existing members and meet some new ones.

One of the key things that kept coming up, was the desire to be able to cycle in the city on quieter streets. We all agreed on how challenging the city can be to cycle in with multi lane one way streets and the busy Liffey Quays. There is room for plenty of improvement.

We’ll keep campaigning and we look forward to some of you getting more involved and volunteering over the coming year.

See you at the next event or our next public meeting.
