February Public Meeting

Monday, 13 February 2017 (All day)
The Tailors' Hall, Back Lane, Christchurch

NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE - The Tailors’ Hall, Christchurch

Dublin Cycling Campaign’s February Public Meeting will take place on Monday 13th February. Please arrive from 7.45pm for an 8.00pm sharp start. Meeting to finish at 9.00/9:15pm.

It will be working public meeting, so please come along with your sleeves rolled up! After an update on the latest news on Dublin Cycling Campaign’s activities, we will divide up into several groups to advance work on a number of key campaigns / processes.
To include:
(i) Organising the Cycle Protest on Wed 22 February (lunchtime) demanding a proper allocation for cycling
(ii) Organising our presence in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2017 in which we will celebrate the 200th Birthday of the Bicycle - details here
(iii) Advancing the development of Dublin Cycling Campaign’s brand new strategy for 2017-2020.
You can spend the meeting contributing to one of these strands or hop around between groups.

Note that The Tailors’ Hall is accessed from Back Lane (the narrow lane that links Nicholas Street/Patrick’s Street to Thomas Street - it runs roughly parallel to High Street). On arriving at the black pedestrian gate (more or less directly across the road from the (now closed) ‘Mother Red Caps Tavern), you can ring the buzzer. You can lock your bicycle to (U-shaped) cycle stands within the court-yard.
