Sarah Scannell, Dublin City Council’s new ​Cycling & Walking Promotion Officer will be introducing​ herself, her role and her key targets for 2016 and into the future. This is a potentially exciting period for the development of cycling and walking in the City, and Sarah will be central to working on this. She also wants to liaise with the cycling community on how we can collaborate and work together to continue to deliver on making cycling and walking in the City safe, inclusive​,​ and a ​real option for all. ​
Sarah commutes daily to work by bicycle, is the mother of two children and has worked for Dublin City Council for 11 years in a variety of roles and projects to deliver quality services for Dublin. She has a keen interest in cycling and walking in both a lifestyle and commuting sense and will continue to work towards delivering quality services in this regard for Dublin.

This talk is a must for anyone interested in how cycling and walking might develop in Dublin City in the near future!
