Iceland - A Surprising Cycle Heaven!?

Monday, 9 January 2017 (All day)
8.00pm, Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin 2

Dr. Paul Corcoran, Chairperson of Dublin Cycling Campaign, and Dr. Damien Ó Tuama, National Cycling Coordinator, will lead us into the new year 2017 with a session exploring the beauty of cycling in Iceland and informing us on the latest developments on the cycle campaigning front in our nearest neighbour to the west of Ireland!

Come along to the meeting in the Central Hotel to get a sense of what it’s like to cycle around the land of fire and ice. Paul and Damien will reflect on some of the highlights of cycling in Iceland and will report on how their cycling campaigners are faring! Paul will also provide stunning images of the amazing views of the Western Icelandic Fjords - and he’ll have detailed Iceland cycling maps available on the night for those considering similar adventures!

You might also like to attend our first meeting of 2017 so as to find out how you can help push the cycling agenda in Dublin and around the country, and so as to learn the latest news on the Irish cycling scene.

New members particularly welcome! As always we retire to the Library Bar after the meeting for a convivial hot chocolate or tipple of your choice!
