Public Meeting - Planning the St Patrick's Day Parade!

Monday, 13 March 2017 (All day)
8pm, Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin 2

Dublin Cycling Campaign will be highlighting the 200th anniversary of the invention of the bicycle at this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The 2017 theme is “Ireland You Are” and it’s all about reflecting on the type of nation we are - and indeed the type of nation we can or ought to be. We want to show Dublin and the world that cycling is the past, present, and future of our city.

Come along to our monthly meeting to find out about our plans for the parade and help us make it the best bicycle parade ever! Some members of the campaign will have the opportunity to take part in the parade which is watched by half a million people lining the streets of Dublin and millions more overseas.

Plus there will be a chance to find out about the campaigns we are running including, #Allocate4Cycling, Bike Theft, and Love 30, and to get actively involved in these, if you have the time. After the meeting we head to the Library Bar in the Central Hotel for a drink and a chat about cycling and other matters.
