Critical Mass Cycles Continue Over Christmas
Our friends from iBikeDublin are organising the last two Critical Mass cycles of the year
- Friday 20 December, 6pm
- Friday 27 December, 6pm
Both days, the cycle will assemble at Hugh Lane Gallery in Parnell square at 6pm, bike gently around central Dublin streets, and finish up at Barnardo Square off Dame street about 7pm.
Critical Mass is a safety-in-numbers urban cycle inspired by the Critical Mass protest cycles that happened in Sweden in the early 1970s and in San Francisco in the 1990s. The iBikeDublin cycles focus on non-confrontation and fun, with music and a happy, family-friendly vibe. There’s a cycle in Belfast, too, and attendance numbers, both in Dublin in Belfast, are growing.
All welcome, young and old. Come for the craic!
