30th Birthday Party on 30th September!
Dublin Cycling Campaign will be celebrating its 30th Birthday on 30th September - and we would love to see you at the party!
We are putting out a special call to past and present members as well as friends and allies of Dublin Cycling Campaign to join us for the night.
The venue is the lovely Tailors’ Hall Tavern on Back Lane / High Street, Dublin 8, D08 X2A3. It is a wonderful historic building with a fine beer garden (with space for bicycles) out the back. See https://tailorshall.ie/.
DJ 25Seán will be looking after the tunes for the evening and we’ll have raffles and all sorts of other excitement as well - details to be announced on this page.
All kicking off after 7.30pm on Saturday 30th September. Spread the word to your bicycling friends - this will be a fabulous gathering!
Dodder Cycle on Sunday 1st October
On the following day, Sunday 1st October, we are having a spin along the Dodder Cycle Route for the delegates to show them some of the new infrastructure coming on stream. All Dublin Cycling Campaigners are very welcome to join the cycle and meet the wider gang from all around Ireland.
We will be meeting at 12:00 at Portobello (Rathmines) Bridge / Richmond Harbour on the Grand Canal, and then we’ll have a second rendezvous at 12:30 at the new red Pedestrian / Cycle Bridge over the Dodder at Bushy Park - and then we will continue upstream alongside the Dodder towards Kiltipper.
Note that coffee stops on the way may have difficulties coping with 30+ people all at once, so we are planning on having a picnic in Kiltipper Park - so please bring some grub and refreshments! After the cycle, we can congregate in Slattery’s of Rathmines.
