The Pyro Blues Executive formed a year and half ago, after a long association. They began playing every Monday in the Leeson Lounge, playing mostly a version of New Orleans R’n’B with a classic rock twist, sandwiched with swing, Rock’n’Roll, Soul, Funk, Blues and Rap of all eras. Their sets consists of radical reworkings of well known R’n’B standards which segue into lengthy improvisations that can switch from a blues jazz crescendo, into a funk dervish, or from a psychedelic freak out, to a country boogie twist, into a dark ascension of Wagnerian majesty. This band features some the best musicians Ireland has ever produced.

James Delaney: keys. James has played with Sharon Shannon, Van Morrison, Paul Brady, Chuck Berry, Andrew Strong
Pat Farrell: Lead guitar (The Business, Red Peters). Pat had shared stages with B.B. King, Jeff Healy, John Primer and Carlos Johnson.
