Liffey Cycle Route Protest Cycle
Work began 7 years ago on planning a safe segregated cycle route along Dublin’s River Liffey. Despite may proposed designs none have so far succeeded, and a safe cycling route is being denied to everyday cyclists and visitors! We are once again taking to the Liffey streets in a Family Friendly way on Sunday 10th June to demonstrate the need for this safe segregated cycle route to happen. It is taking too long and needs to happen sooner rather than later!
Join us on this Cycle and Picnic, which will gather and start from the Wellington Monument in the Phoenix Park, and finish with a family picnic, on Guild Street next to the Royal Canal and the Convention Centre. The cycle will be fully escorted and will begin at 11am sharp. Come along and make your voice heard for a safer and better Dublin!
