Playback: public meeting about cargo bikes
Over the last 15 years cargo bikes have gone from a novelty to a regular sight on the streets of our cities and towns. These days it’s not unusual to see cargo bikes being used to ferry children to school, transport goods or deliver our letters and parcels . This month we gathered a variety of speakers to show how the cargo bike has become a viable car and van replacement.
Speakers:
Dr Robbie Egan, Centre for Transport Research, TCD
Neasa Bheilbigh, Galway Cycling Campaign; Cyclist.ie
Paddy Byrne, Life Pharmacy D4
Astrid van Gelder-Fitzpatrick, The Dutch Bike Shop
