Join us for an in-person public meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday 16 January in the Clayton Hotel, Charlemont (beside The Barge pub). We have lined up two presentations which will be of great interest to our members and supporters.

Alan Murphy and Jack Kavanagh from Smart Dublin will introduce the the new Dublin Region Active Travel Dashboard , which serves as a one-stop-shop for understanding and analysing patterns of walking and cycling across the four Dublin local authorities. By aggregating data from multiple sources—including census data, commuting figures, Google EIE trips data, and EcoCounter sensors—the dashboard offers a detailed and accurate picture of active travel in the city.

Then Cllr Janet Horner will present about the Dublin City Council Mobility and Public Realm Strategic Policy Committee of which she is the Chairperson. This committee prepares and debates policy alternatives for transport and traffic affairs for Dublin City Council and a Dublin Cycling Campaign representative is one of the six external members on the committee.
