National and Local Authority Policy
The Dublin Cycling Campaign works with each of the four local authorities to ensure that the needs of cyclists are considered. We have a representatives on the Strategic Policy Committee for Transport in all four councils. We are active members on the Cycle Forum in Dublin City and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, and we are calling for the creation of Cycle Forum in South Dublin and Fingal.
We are also part of Cyclist.ie, the Irish Cycling Advocacy Network, that lobbies at a national level for changes in legislation, policies and activities that benefit cycling.
