Women on Wheels - hear all about our research, June 10th from 6.30pm!
Women on Wheels is a group within Dublin Cycling Campaign which has spent the last year researching women’s experience of cycling in Dublin, thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation. You may be aware that only 30% of people who cycle in Dublin identify as women - Women on Wheels has been asking women to tell us about their experiences on Dublin’s roads.
At Dublin Cycling Campaign’s monthly meeting on June 10th, the team will talk you through some of the findings from our research, and proposing some recommendations that we believe are necessary in order for more women to feel comfortable cycling in Dublin.
All the international research shows that cycling is good for our health - both mental and physical. It also allows for autonomy, freedom to travel to work and studies; we believe that cycling is an equality issue!
Coffees and teas from 6.30, come along with your ears open and ready with questions about what we can all do to make Dublin a better place for Women on Wheels.
