National Bike Week will be a little different this year. This year we are taking advantage of of how much more used to the virtual world we’ve become and are organising a series of webinars during Bike Week 2020.


Pedalling through the pandemic and beyond

Date: 11am - 12pm, Monday 21st September 2020

Dublin Cycling Campaign, in collaboration with South Dublin County Council, invites you to attend a 60 minute webinar on the growth in demand for cycling, how we should meet and manage that demand, and South Dublin County Council plans for cycling now and into the future.

Cities for People in a Pandemic

Date: 12pm - 1pm, Tuesday 22nd September 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on businesses in Dublin. This panel will explore how our public space can best adapt to support how people move around Dublin in order better support businesses. Patricia Reidy, who leads the Dublin City Council team behind the pedestrianisation trials around Grafton Street, and Graeme McQueen of Dublin Chamber of Commerce will discuss this important topic.
