AGM 2016 of Dublin Cycling Campaign
A review of the past year and look to the future. The Annual General Meeting is a great opportunity for new people to get involved in the Campaign and to help change the city for the better.
A draft outline of the agenda for the AGM is as follows:

Overview of the last 12 months of cycle campaigning (Dublin + Ireland & European levels)
Round table introductions / what was each person’s highlight and lowlight of 2015-16 and priority for 2016-17?
Election of officers/coordinators (and finding volunteers) for our main spheres of work:
Events, Main Current Campaigns (Liffey Cycle Route, College Green-O’Connell Street axis, Dodder Route, Bike Theft etc.), Media/Communications, Membership, Funding, Research & Advocacy at a Local Authority Level (Dublin City, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown Co Co, South Dublin Co Co, Fingal), National Level Advocacy (through the work of Cyclist.ie (www.cyclist.ie) - e.g. on Serious Investment in High Quality Cycling Schemes, Safer Lower Urban Speed Limits, Safe Over-taking Distance Legislation, Action on Heavy Goods Vehicle hazards etc), European level Research / Advocacy, Strategy and Governance….Motions
Retire to the lovely Library Bar up the corridor (approx 9.15pm).
