Bringing home ideas from the 'Velo-city' Cycling Planning Conference in Nantes

Velo-city is the fabulous cycling planning conference run annually by the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF). This year it took place in Nantes in France at the beginning of June with over 1500 delegates from 80 countries attending. Four representatives from, the member for Ireland of ECF, took the time to head over - Dr. Mike McKillen, Colm Ryder, Damien Ó Tuama and Catherine Swift.

Christmas Party 2015!

Dublin Cycling Campaign’s 2015 Christmas Party takes place (instead of our usual monthly meeting) on Monday 14th December.

If you haven’t been to our seasonal party before, then you need to come this year! It’s a friendly and sociable evening and you can catch up with other Campaign members and the wider cycling community on the night.

Bike Week

Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Held over a week in June of each year with bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland.

Christmas Party 2014

The Bicycle Christmas Party, now in its 9th year, takes place on Monday 8th December in the Central Hotel.

During the evening, we’ll be taking the time to reflect on some of our successes over the last year and look ahead to 2015. Do pop along, even for a quick visit and you may well cycle home with some fab prizes which we have available for our raffle.

Many thanks to Campaign member Phil Murray for producing the poster!

This Halloween Night, we are cycling!

The cycling community of Dublin will gather for a spooky cycle around Dublin once again on Halloween Night!

The meeting point will be the Grafton Street entrance of the St Stephen’s Green Park and here is the proposed route for the cycle.

Meeting time will be Friday 31st at 6pm, invite all your bicyclists friends, share the event and come in your most ghoulish self!

Hope to see you there and…

Happy Cycling!
